Are we but humble servants articulating the Nõ language of the Rose
where our work of "Art is not a thing, but disclosure of Being, the essence of Being"? (Versenyi, 92)

Are we used by Being and thrown away like Nõ thing?
Are our thoughts thrown like Kukai's brush across the great divide?

If "the real actor is truth itself bringing itself about in and through the existence of man"
and "what is important in the work of art ... the essence of the work of art, truth, has come into its own
ie that disclosure of Being has taken place" (Versenyi 100)

are we not like the Nõ Flower in being still with Nõ thoughts?

And if "Truth like magic needs instruments" and "Man is the media of disclosure" (Versenyi, 101)
is the Rose Nõt also part of this disclosure of the essence of Being?
If the beloved Rose were to speak would it speak to us of Nõ thing?
It would speak in terms of abstract self and other speaking in binaries of 0 1 0 1 0 1
as language requires signifier and signified. We talk with our eyes, our mouths, our hands,
while the ever present ever gone Semiotic Ghosts haunt us like Roses with transcognitive language.

The Rose reflects our Nature.
If we were not Beautiful and know Pain
we would not recognize either in the Rose.

We recognize ourselves within the silent Rose as it echoes back our own Nature.
Here we have come to understand the meaning of Being.
Here we have come to understand the Rose
while the Rose might never understand or know us.
