In 2008 VAMS launched an accessible space designed to meet the needs of people with a wide range of disabilities and musical capabilities. Vancouver Adapted Music Society (VAMS) was founded in the late 1980s to support and promote musicians with physical disabilities in the Metro Vancouver area.
